IntelliGenesis is seeking an experienced AI/ML Instructor & Curriculum Developer to help design and deliver next-generation AI education programs supporting government and national security organizations.
 
This role combines technical expertise, instruction, curriculum development, and innovation. You will work alongside AI researchers, engineers, mission operators, and instructional designers to create learning experiences that prepare technical professionals, analysts, managers, and leaders to succeed in an AI-enabled future.
 
Unlike traditional training roles, you will have access to IntelliGenesis' advanced AI research environment, including our 8,000-square-foot IG Labs innovation facility, NVIDIA-powered computing infrastructure, and ongoing applied AI initiatives supporting real-world mission challenges.
 
What You'll Do
  • Deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid AI/ML training programs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design and develop innovative AI learning experiences, including labs, workshops, practical exercises, simulations, and certification preparation programs.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into mission-relevant instruction that drives understanding and operational application.
  • Develop curriculum covering topics such as:
     
    • Generative AI
    • Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • Agentic AI
    • Machine Learning
    • Deep Learning
    • Data Science
    • MLOps
    • AI Governance and Responsible AI
    • AI Security and Risk Management
       
  • Create hands-on exercises using modern AI tools, frameworks, and datasets.
  • Collaborate with AI practitioners and researchers to ensure content reflects current technologies and emerging trends.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve course content and learner outcomes.
  • Support workforce development initiatives, certification programs, and AI transformation efforts across government organizations.
  • Participate in pilot programs, demonstrations, workshops, and strategic AI education initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Education, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of combined experience in AI/ML, data science, analytics, software engineering, technical instruction, or curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience developing or delivering technical education, workforce development, or training programs.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI and machine learning concepts, tools, and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agentic AI, MLOps, Responsible AI, and AI governance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Education, or related field.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government programs.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led training, workshops, boot camps, or certification programs.
  • Experience developing hands-on labs, simulations, or project-based learning environments.
  • Industry certifications related to AI, cloud computing, data science, or technical instruction.

Compensation Range: $170,000 - $210,000

Compensation ranges encompass a total compensation package and are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.

Our compensation includes other indirect financial components designed to support employees’ total well-being, which should be considered when evaluating our competitive benefits package. These monetary benefits include medical insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, maternity/paternity leave, 401(k) company match, training/education reimbursements and other work/life programs.
