IntelliGenesis is seeking a candidate that will join its dynamic Contracts/Finance team by providing a wide variety of detailed financial analysis activities, including but not limited to planning, developing, and preparing cost/price proposals for government and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:- Serves as the Pricing Lead and develops compliant, complete and competitive Cost Volume(s) for government and/or commercial customers in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and or Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) as well as Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) price submissions
- Prepares, documents and finalizes rate cards
- Ensures compliance with government contracting regulations and specified proposal instructions
- Provides financial analysis support across all Divisions
- Maintains current knowledge of the industry and pricing trends
- Performs market research/analysis for Purchase Requisitions Forms.
- Advises leadership regarding key business metrics, risks and options
- Supports compliance activities to include internal/external audits
- Assists Contracts/Finance team with ad hoc financial requests and provides recommendations
- Participates in contract negotiations, as required
- Executes subcontract Task Order (TO) award documents and modifications for Prime Contracts, as needed
- Tracks and analyzes contract actuals, estimates to complete (EAC) and funding run out dates against original program budget, as needed
- Provides backup support for Company travel expense reporting and documentation.
- Works with management assisting in developing and implementing price strategies including segment strategies for divisions
- Performs cost/price/business analyses and estimates (profitability, business metrics, client price and wage analyses) for complex proposal efforts
Required Skills:- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 2+ years of experience
- BA or BS Degree from an accredited university in related background: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Experience with financials, including budgeting, tracking, and customer service in a government and/or commercial contracting environment
- Candidates possesses a strong background working with multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts
- This position requires a working knowledge of Government Contracting (terminology), the pricing and the ability to complete assignments of moderate complexity on time within a fast-paced environment
- Mastery of MS Excel -specifically, the ability to create and manipulate complex formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical and communication skills required
- Must have the ability to operate independently as well as being an effective member of a dynamic team
- Ability to work in both in-person and in virtual team environments
- Keen Attention to detail
Desired Skills:- Security Clearance preferred
- Knowledgeable of Unanet Accounting software a plus
- Knowledgeable of GSA a plus
- Requires the skills to create courses of action and proactively solve problems by conducting research, conceiving and developing new and innovative ideas, theories, and/or solutions, and predicting possible outcomes
- Possess ability to prepare and present “what-if” cost scenarios
Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
